Often people are ‘referred-in’ to organisations, and this can cause conflict with the desire to create a more diverse profession. The onus is on recruitment and resourcing teams as well as hiring managers to ensure they are all leaving biases aside when recruiting a candidate for a role.

This award recognises organisations (inhouse and recruitment companies) that minimise the impact of bias in recruitment and have successfully increased diversity amongst the workforce.
